radio mounting?

how is everyone mounting there radios. i have been looking for a mount kit but no one has one for the 88-91 civic. so lets see how your mounting yours.

how did you mount it. my hatch did not have a radio in it when i got it.

im unsure what your asking

i used the small black piece that my oem radio slid into and put my aftermark et cd player in hooked up the wires and viola bumping my hybrid theory ever since lol

Did your radio come with a metal sleeve? If so, put the sleeve in your radio opening, and bend some tabs on the sleeve to keep the sleeve from moving. Then slide you radio into the sleeve and it should stay in place. Most radios have a black rim that allows you to cover the front, so you want be able to see the metal sleeve. Put that one and you're done.


(This is what I mean when I say sleeve)

You need #28 from the picture below. They are like $15 from the dealer (if they are still available). You might get lucky and find one at the junkyard.

i don't have anything where the stock radio was. so i guess i have to find #28 thanks bus driver j

Wait, do you have a CRX or Civic? I was thinking Civic but your name states otherwise . The picture above is for a Civic. If you have a CRX, you need #5.
