NEW Skunk2 Header (For the ballers on a budget)
« on: September 13, 2011, 06:23:52 am »
Looks like Skunk2 got smart and released a replica of their own megapower header.

http://cms.skunk2.com/id/751/B-Series-Alpha-Series-Header/

I guess it's better to slash prices to keep your share of the market rather than lose it to someone knocking off parts. With this header, there's really no need to buy a blox header or a tri-y header since this is back by a warranty. Plus, you get brownie parts for having skunk2 parts LOL.

Intro price is $340

wish they had better pictures of the header, such as pics on a motor/vehicle to reference clearance .

It's the same as their other header. So the fitment is no better than a hytech replica.

Just raise your civic up! I drove around with a hytech replica on my CRX for months without killing it.

You said ground clearance was terrible with that though, and you had to murder your x member.

I'm just going to pretty much conclude that if you want ANY header that has at least a 2.5" collector no matter the design, you will get it banged up if you drive daily and non-grandma-like.
