Update.

Well I installed my header and exhaust today and was highly disappoin ted!!! When I compared the Hytech replica (old) with the JDM DC 4-1 (new), then new header hangs lower than the old header!!!  :-[

I would of taken a picture of the header compariso n, but I was kind pissed. Anyways, it was only like $60 and not dented (for now). Well here are the pics after the install.

Ground looks great don't it, NAWWWWW the driversid e is actually jacked up. I'm going to take a picture of the car on all 4's and place something near the header for a compariso n. Looks like I'll be "upgrading" again really soon (like income tax *shakes head*)

Technical ly speaking, my catback isn't hooked up, but it's atleast mounted.

It's not hooked up because of this

2.5in outlet

2.25inlet  >:(

After looking for an exhaust shop that would mod it and not having luck, I'm going to just try to get a refund. After going back to the site I got it from and double checking my order, it appears that they sent me the wrong thing anyways. I ordered a "88-00 Honda Civic Straight Test Pipe" and received an resonator . So hopefully I can get that straighte n out. On the site it says not refunds on shipping, but hopefully since they sent me the wrong thing, I get a complete refund. If not, I paid with paypal. So that may work in my favor.

Comparing my pictures to the one in the link
http://www.dashzracing.com/Exhaust-Test-Pipe/Honda/Civic/88-00-Honda-Civic-Straight-Test-Pipe-p7774272.html

Not the same thing right? Nope!

As for the exhaust itself, I need to replace some of the rubber hangers. The hangers are too short, so the tip is right on my bumper. The last thing I want to due to melt my bumper, and go through the process of finding another one and getting it painted.

It was good driving my car for the 1st time in a few weeks. I went to get some gas it in since it was damn near on empty. Also, I believe I finally was able to determine what's wrong with my car unofficia lly (LOL). I believe my car is suffering from something called "lean misfiring" due to overworki ng my injectors . I'll double check once I check my spark plugs. So hopefully soon I'll be able to install my injectors, fuel pump, and get a new basemap made (cross fingers that I didn't burn any valves).

I called the company I purchased the test pipe from, and it basically went like this.

Them: Hello
Me: Hi my name is Darryl Baker and I would like to make a return
Them: What is you order#?
Me:*&@*&(*&@
Them: What is the reason for the return
Me: The item I received was not what I ordered. I ordered a straight pipe and received a resonator
Them: Hold please

5 minutes later...

Them: Can you used the item you received in the place of the other item?
(Me thinking: Why the hell does that matter since it's not what I ordered)
Me: No, then inlet of the resonator is 2.25in and won't connect to my header outlet which is 2.5in
Them: Can you take pictures of the problem and email them to ^^%&6%%$%@6%&*^?
(Me thinking: What the hell? It's not what I'm ordered, so I shouldn't have to go through this)
Me: uuuuuuuhh hh Oooooooka y
Hangs up

The email

Hi,

My name is Darryl Baker. I would like to return and receive full refund (including shipping) for an 88-00 Honda Civic Straight Test Pipe I purchased from you. The reason why I would like to return the product is because the item I received is not identical to the advertise d item.

Item advertise d from Dash Z racing
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=88-00HondaCivicStraightTestPipe.jpg

link to the product
http://www.dashzracing.com/Exhaust-Test-Pipe/Honda/Civic/88-00-Honda-Civic-Straight-Test-Pipe-p7774272.html

The item I received is the following
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=1_Item_Received.jpg

As you can see in the pictures, the item received is NOT the same item that was advertise d on your website. In addition, the inlet flange is actually 2.25in which defeats the purpose of having a "2.5in pipe diameter" test pipe. So, if I wanted to keep this item and try to make it work to my 2.5in collector exhaust header, I would have to modify the inlet flange to accept a 2.5in exhaust gasket, which defeats the purpose why I purchased the item (so I wouldn't have to go to an exhaust shop), and is not worth the hassle.

In the following pictures you will see me compare a OEM Honda 2.5in Exhaust Gasket to the inlet of the item received.

OEM Honda 2.5in Exhaust Gasket
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=3_2andhalf_OEM_Gakset.jpg

OEM Honda Exhaust Gasket is actually 2.5 inches
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=4_True_2andhalf.jpg

Item received inlet inside diameter is clear not 2.5 inches
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=2_Not_2andhalf.jpg

Trying to mate the OEM Honda 2.5in Exhaust Gasket to the item received
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=5_TryingToFitOn.jpg

http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=6_TryingToFitOn2.jpg

You can clearly see it will not fit.
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=7_DoesNotFit.jpg

Side View
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=8_DoesNotFitSideView.jpg

Also, as seen here, this is truly not a "straight" pipe, since the inside is resembles an exhaust resonator .
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g273/bigdare23/misc/?action=view&current=11_NotAStraightPipe_Resonator.jpg

If you have a problem viewing the links, I also attached copies of each picture to the email.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Darryl Baker
