BD, I really didn't have much of a choice:

Because I'm building a dedicated smf car, I pretty much had to get an 88 std.

This was the best one I could find (no rust).

This will save me between 100-200lbs from the get-go.

Alex, no it wasn't cheap.  I probably overpaid.
But hopefully once I swap over my goodies, I can sell my 91 si and whatever extra bits I have to recoup the funds.

If you are building this for a race car, won't you be taking out all of the power window stuff?

Yessir.

It's pretty cool though.

I may put the power windows in my 91si.

It will really depend on how much trouble it ends up being.

I'm going to weigh it first before I decide on what motor will live here.

If really like to do a k24 swap, but just buying the car ate up a good chunk of my $.

I don't mind sharing that the car was listed for $3600 and that it cost me another $500 + a couple of favors to get her here.

I don't intend to ever sell it anyway.

Here's a couple pics of the strange mods:

Dare said the gaskets work wonders as long as you don't start the car.

glad it finally made it here.

I'm guessing by the look of the switches it has the universal kit for the power windows.

Good find Kenny.

The biggest thing that bothers me about this car is that the firewall VIN stamp isn't visible.

I guess bc the bay is painted, it's not showing.

I'm going to try and strip the paint chemicall y just to verify.

The vins on the dash and door sill both match the title, but then again I'm a little OCD.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize it was built nonvtec.

Does it have 403s or 404s... or 405s?

How does it pull? I had really good numbers for my setup.

Kenny,

Text me a picture like I did to you same location and see I can make anything out to see if it has been "worked"

No idea.  I'm trying to get more info on it.

I haven't taken it over 3500.

My buddy says it runs like a raped ape over 4k.
