suspension for my wagon?
« on: March 17, 2013, 02:52:11 pm »
I need help selecting suspensio n for mt 91 rt wagon. Ive read a few reviews around forums. I just want to het rid of the wheel gap, it will be my DD carting the kid to preschool and stuff so I need a setup thats comfortab le and not real stiff.  I have heard alot of good things about koni/gc, this will be my first coilover setup so idk what to choose. Also will I need any other suspensio n parts in addition? I don't wanna spend a fourtune on this. Budget would be below $800 ideally. Please give opinions thanks 8)

I've got a old school skunk coilover system on my.

Rides really good.

I've heard good stuff about godspeed coilovers as long as you dont go full low (basically will blow shocks at that point)

My hatch and crx both run tociko shocks with either hr springs or eibach.

No bounce etc.  I'm not one of the fanboys that like to dump my cars.  So I prefer to have a good ride.

I've heard lots of good stuff about koni and gc.  If you have the cash then that is a good way.

But you can hunt around and get deals.  I always look for deals.

My prelude had the koni/gc but we had a lot more invested in that set up than 800

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I'm not looking to slam it because I do have to drive this daily and trying to find the best setup for the least amount of cash, so I too have been looking for good deals. I'm just looking to have a good ride and have my RT look good. Thanks for the info on godspeed i haven't check them out.  8)

I'm pretty sure they're the same. Hows your crx ride on those?
