91_EF_NC's Build Thread

My Story

So I'm not new to the whole Honda scene, but, this is my first Civic.  Before the civic, I was driving a 97 Acura CL 3.0 which I had pretty much done until the good ole' transmiss ion died (gotta love those Honda V6 auto tranny's...not).  I couldnt afford to build the tranny back and why would I cause it probably only would have lasted another 30,00 miles, so I parted the whole car and got double what I paid and put into it.  It took almost 2 months to find this civic.  It was unmoleste d and pretty much stock minus the ebay coil sleeves and pioneer deck.  Its a 91 DX with 233k and paid about $1200.

First things first, I paint my stock wheels white while I save for bigger/better wheels and eventuall y (3 months later) repainted all my exterior trim and bumpers.

I eventuall y got tired of the white wheels and wanted something different, something that stood out from the rest.  Yes I break necks in my stock civic haha.  I went with teal...no t very original and it doesnt necessari ly match with the blue but its different .

A few weeks later I purchased an SiR front lip and it didnt fit initially so I trimmed off about 1 1/2" on either side and now it works very well.  I do otoh want to get the MK3 front lip down the road.  Also I resprayed the bumpers and trim yet again satin black because the flat black faded too quickly

Showing some love guys

Went to pull-a-part to find some spare parts but didnt find exactly what I was looking for.  I did however grab me a spare valve cover and repainted it white.  I probably wont install it until my bay is tucked and sprayed.

Those rims look pretty bad ass on your sedan.

What part of NC are you from? I used to stay in Durham and there's a few other members on here from NC.

PM Blucivic on here. He's not TOO far from you, and he owns a boosted sedan.
