just wondering, what exactly have you ordered? And is it kinda just for the hell of it because the car is down anyways?

some stuff i should have replaced when i bought the swap but didn't have the money to and some extra stuff since my engine is down...ev erything i've bought:

OEM Valve seals
OEM head gasket
OEM head studs (in transit)
OEM lost motion assembly (spring type)
OEM timing belt
OEM oil pump
OEM water pump
OEM cam seal
OEM camshaft oil seals
OEM valve cover gasket kit
P2R intake manifold gasket (similar to hondata)
Skunk2 cam gears
ITR replica header
Buddy Club Spec III+ camshafts (in transit)

that was the last lap...gla d the camera stopped b/c i really started messing up b/c i was getting anxious  :-\ but i believe it was 5 laps which is like 16 miles of racing




hmm, doesn't seem like it's that many miles either, haha.

So is that all you got to run was 5 laps that event?

yup, only 5...i did the Hyperdriv e which is only one HPDE session and it's only $50...since i can't afford a weekend, this is letting me get track time for cheap  ;)

damn! track time must be more expensive than i thought man.

but, you're also paying for the instructo r too, so i guess you gotta factor that in too.


there's a track called little talledega that guys rent out and go drive on all day. for like 12 people i think it's around $100, you can have 3 cars on the track at a time and you get it from like 8-5 with a 1 hour lunch break.

im sure of all the details, but it ends up being somewhere around 1.5 - 2 hours of track time per car

I dont know about that price but the tuner at Forged does his own driving school at Little Tally. Ive been meaning to go to one of the classes with him.
