What's up ECEFC! I figured id share with everyone the progress im making on my SMF crx. I've been around Autocross since i was 10. my dad did it years ago and have always had interest into automotiv es. I've owned 4 crx's in the past 5 years. i hoping this will be the one i get to keep for a lifetime. I bought this crx on my birthday last year. Paid a good price consideri ng how straight the body is. Passenger side is flawless, no rust. Drivers side, is ehhhh not to bad. common rust on rear quarter panel and some on the hatch area.

This was the day i brought it home

Day after i bought the CRX. Installed the integra rear disc, HardRace rear LCA's and Goodridge SS brake lines

Finished the brakes with:

- 91 ex front brakes
- integra rear disc
- 15/16th MC
- Dx brake booster
- SS brake lines

After i finally got the brakes 95% complete, i got the car aligned and registere d. i thought i was ready to start with my suspensio n... but nope! drove the crx next day to the junkyard to go check some stuff out. Before i got there the motor starting ticking, so i figured it was low on oil. so i stopped and put oil in and was fine till i pulled in the parking lot of the junkyard. i came out hoping that the motor cooling off would've helped but it didnt. I started my way back home and it breaks down, and wouldnt crank. motor had spun a bearing. FML! towed it home and started the tear down

Since the motor blew up, i decided to tear apart the entire front end. i was going to prepare it for paint, but im more worried about tracking it, so the paint will wait till off season. but i started my wire tuck. passenger side is done, just need to loom it. drivers side i still have to extend the wires. after that i will be assemblin g the front end again. So for now im just ordering parts. just cleared half my list off! got a few things this weekend, and many more to come!
