Replacing carpet in my hatch
« on: October 03, 2012, 09:32:06 am »
Which type of carpet do you guys think I should get? Mass backed or Poly backing? I've never replaced carpet before but I would like the extra sound dampening of the Mass back. Any thoughts?

I was gonna say poly-backed until I saw you welcome the extra sound-deadening of the mass-backed. In my opinion the extra sound blocking ability is the only reason to get mass-backed over poly-backed, and it sounds like that is the right fit for you.

dude they make some kind of racing dynamic sound proof warpping. when i started ripping up the carpet in my late crx i found it. its actually stuck onto the frame under the carpet. ill hoke u up with some more details when i get another chance to look at it, but its some legit racing stuff.
