I might have the ignition, trunk and door key from the old hatch.

I just need time.

Troublesh ooting CEL from water...

I'm using an obd2b harness and water really only affected:
- pins 14/15/16/17/18/19/25/26/27/28/29 in plug A
- pins 9/10/11/20 in plug B

Of concern is pins 15, 18, and 19 in plug A - for fuel pump relay,  MIL, and engine speed pulse.
There are several of concern - looks like ignition power, signal, and ground and injector #2 in plug B.

I found the pinouts here: http://technet.ff-squad.com/wiring.obd2b.htm

I checked inside the hondata s300 case and all looks ok.

So hopefully now that the ecu and wiring is dry, there won't be any permanent damage.

*fingers crossed*

^ wiring looks good afaik.

I'll give another inspectio n to the tps and map sensor wiring just to be safe.

I'm about to change injectors and maybe fuel pump next!

This bucking is getting out of hand!

I got a cel code 16 while limping the car home - it started randomly sputterin g and running like shit while the tach jumped around all crazy and the wideband gauge also gave some crazy erratic readings.
Also it gave me a very dim CEL flickerin g.

I removed the hondata s300 ecu and conversio n harness and took them in the house to check them out and inspect for water damage. I found evidence of moisture on a couple of the pins in the connector for the conversio n harness and dried them out.

I hope nothing is fried!

I bailed about one gallon of water from the rear floorboar d on the drivers side and another half gallon of water from the rear floorboar d on the passenger side.

I checked the rear window seals and found that the screws holding the window hinge to the b-pillar were not tight - the seating to the chassis is a bit stripped. This is the suspect area IMO.

I decided to drill three small holes in the chassis to prevent future water pooling issues:

One behind each seat in the rear floorboar d, and one in the spare tire well.

I peeled off the roof gutter trim on drivers side and inspected the area - no evidence of a crack or leak there.

I'm going to check the inside of the roof panel today and report back.

* thanks Richard for the phone support - I should keep you on retainer!
