Hobbies and stuff.

OK folks this is what happens to you when you grow up in England.

You learn to ride a bike and pretty much embrace it or learn to use the transit system.

I got taken to watch the movie ET at the movie theater.  Yes I'm an old fart.

After that I was hooked.

Well told my dad I wanted a bmx bike.

Ended up with a Raleigh Grifter.  Right P.O.S 3 speed on handle so when you tried doing a wheelie you also changed gears.

I told my dad I wanted a real bmx bike.

So i had my money saved.  I sold the Raleigh.

I bought this from one of his customers bike shop.

1980's Kawahara.

This bike has been with me since.  I moved it over from England in a tea chest.  It has gone to school with me, pretty much if I was able to take it somewhere, it went.

I still ride it.  It is not totally original ( newer tires and different brakes)

Apart from that it is all factory.

Since then I talked with a guy that really into bmx's and my age.  Kind of awoke the beast plus my kids riding as well.

I have been picking up car parts, cleaning them and selling them to help with the EF addition.

I my travels if I find a rare bmx bike I keep it.

Here is the latest one.

It is a 2005 We the People bmx bike.

It was specially designed by a famous old school bmx bike designer for Adidas.  Only catch to these bikes were they were only sold at Adidas stores.  And the even more bigger catch was they only made 50 worldwide .

Yep I own one.  I will not divulge on how much this bitch set me back.

Also added to the keepers are a 90's dyno nsx and a 90's chrome dyno vfr (with $200 race tires and mohawke wheel stems)

yeah I'm not a fan of the fat frame bmx bikes.

Maybe they are for the big frame kids that ride them.

That would be ok if they were huffy's.

I don't buy the cheap shit.

The Kuwahara is about $3500 right now and god knows how much the black and orange one is since there are only 50 in the world.
