Ok guys I am ready to do my ls vtec boost build but never really did a ls vtec before. My setup that Im working with is obd0 LS bottom end and a obd0 B16 head my car is currently converted to obd1, so now that you know what im working with and all, my question is what oil pump and water pump should I run? Does the obd have anything to do with it? Your help would be greatly appreciat ed! I know alot of guys on here have had experienc e with LS vtecs and B20 vtecs so thank you in advance!

Get the following

-obd2 b-series oil pump (b20, b18b, b18c,...)
Oil pump you would want is an obd2, because it "supposedl y" increases oil pressure over obd1&0 oil pumps. All b-series uses the same oil pump during the same generatio ns. So obd2 b20 oil pump = obd2 LS =obd2 GSR= obd2 Type R etc.

-GSR/Type R timing belt & water pump (same stuff)
Timing belt matches your water pump (GSR water pump-> GSR timing belt). Generatio n doesn't matter here. (Use only OEM timing belts or Gates timing belts.)

So if you order everythin g from a 1999 Integra GSR you're good. If you order everythin g from a 1995 GSR you're good also. I would just order the obd2 oil pump since it's was changed to increase oil pressure.

Also, don't get a aftermark et gasket kit!!! Order your gaskets from an online Honda or Acura dealer. Trust me on this one! LOL

Isn't your motor a b16? If so, you ARP headstuds wont work. You need gsr or lsvtec head studs (yes ARP makes some especiall y for ls/b20vtecs).

I feel you with the snow! I was stuck at home all last week because of it.
