My 1991 si : b18c5 + jrsc + ats transmission + 5-lug
« on: April 13, 2018, 10:07:52 am »
I need someplace to archive this informati on.

Most recently I had to pull the blower for the 3rd or 4th time.

The LHT air to water cores were leaking into the port for cylinder #1 on the dyno.

Once pulled, I found that the manifold is cracked around two of the mounting points for the blower:

I have maybe 200 miles on this manifold since it was modded, but it's been a while since LHT did the work - so I've contacted them to see if they can help me out.

you might end up doing the following at a machine shop.

drill bigger hole
machine plug
put plug in hole
weld plug
drill and tap plug

A good machine/ fab shop could fix it but I would go lht first to see if they can fix it.
